Election Day - Monday, April 1, 2018 - The Election has been canceled
The election was going to be held to elect a Police Judge and three Board of Selectmen; one from each of the three Wards.
Town Clerk, Jennifer Yobski reported that the number of candidate packets submitted was equal to the number of open seats available, including candidates filing affidavits of intent.
Therefore the election was canceled by the Georgetown Board of Selectmen at its regular scheduled meeting on February 12, 2019 by Resolution #3 (Series 2019).

Selectman Ward 1: Rob Connell
Selectman Ward 2: Paul Hintgen
Selectman Ward 3: Mary Smith

SHALL TOWN OF GEORGETOWN TAXES BE INCREASED $115,000.00 IN THE FIRST FISCAL YEAR (2019) AND BY WHATEVER ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS ARE RAISED ANNUALLY IN EACH SUBSEQUENT YEAR, THROUGH A ONE HALF PERCENT (½%) INCREASE IN THE TOWN SALES AND USE TAX RATES [INCREASING THE SALES TAX RATE FROM FOUR PERCENT (4%) TO FOUR AND A HALF PERCENT (4 1/2%) AND THE USE RATE FROM THREE PERCENT (3%) TO THREE AND ONE HALF PERCENT (3½%)], COMMENCING ON JANUARY 1, 2019 AND CONTINUING UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2029; SUCH TAX INCREASE TO CEASE ON SUCH DATE, THE REVENUES FROM SUCH INCREASE TO BE USED SOLELY FOR MAINTENANCE OF AND IMPROVEMENTS TO STROUSSE PARK, CITY PARK, WERLIN PARK, TRIANGLE PARK, MEADOWS PARK, GREENWAY PARK, WARMING HUT/WILDLIFE VIEWING PARK, THE BENNHOFF LAKE TRAIL AND OTHER TOWN-OWNED PARK AND TRAIL AREAS, AND SHALL ALL REVENUES GENERATED FROM THE SALES AND USE TAX INCREASE AUTHORIZED HEREBY AND FROM ANY EARNINGS FROM THE INVESTMENT OF SUCH REVENUES CONSTITUTE A VOTER APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE AND EXCEPTION TO THE REVENUE AND SPENDING LIMITS OF ARTICLE X SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION?
