I moved to Denver, Colorado in 1988. I then moved to Georgetown in 2003 to marry and have lived here or 20 years. I was a music major in college at Sam Houston State University after serving in the Army. I was then a professional musician in the Houston/Dallas area for 10 years. I then switched to computer network technology and security where I spent the next 30 years travelling to military sites providing solutions to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Agency marketplace with AT &T, RACAL, Cisco Systems, and GTSI. I retired in 2014 as GTSI's Federal Director of Sales. Through AT&T special programs I received 6 months technical training at Bells Labs in New Jersey and 6 months corporate financial analysis training at University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
Since moving to Georgetown, I have been the Chairman of the Board of the Georgetown Trust for Conservation & Preservation for the last several years, the President of Rotary Clear Creek 200 since 2017 to the present, whose focus is the youth of Clear Creek County, and serve on the Historic Georgetown, Inc. Special Events Committee which plans Georgetown Christmas Market and other special events.

I've been a resident of Georgetown since 2001, moving here from the Midwest. I retired from the Clear Creek County School District where I worked as the High School Counselor and Special Education teacher for over 15 years; my son is a graduate of CCHS. My previous career was in local government where I served over 20 years in a suburb of Chicago.
I volunteer with the local Garden Club, am involved with CSU Extension as a Certified Master Gardener, and serve on the Board of Directors for Historic Georgetown, Inc., and chair HGI Special Events Committee (coordinating events such as Duck race, Christmas Market, Historic Home Tours, Summer Garden Parties) in addition to serving on the Town Board of Selectmen. I currently serve as the Board representative on the Business Promotion Commission.
